*JAN 25th, FRIDAY ~ KIRBY ~ http://www.kirbysings.com/blog/

“Kirby is very intimate in his songwriting, exposing us to everything from his good times to his innermost pain.” – MonkeyBiz.ca

Into The Dark,  a glimpse into the psyche of a man whose spent the last three years touring Canada, crossing the country numerous times. (John) KIRBY’s second official release, wrestles the ideas of hostile despair, anguish of being unable to change, the worthlessness of envy and the desire to be wanted so unconditionally. The EP works towards summarizing the vast enormity of his experiences into seven calculated, succinct booms of folk-pop passion and interwoven with hook filled melody.

Fronting Burlington, Ontario prog-rock band ‘First Time Fallen’ for several years he released his first solo EP “Within These Walls” in 2007 before taking the figurative plunge with his next EP “The Good Fight”, in 2008. Hitting the road for the first many solo tours across Canada over the next few years and now with his new release ‘Into The Dark’,  KIRBY is poised and ready for the next step. Displaying his true passion, as he belts out emotional lyrics right from the bottom of his heart, coupled with the diversity of both a driving rock strum style and quiet thoughtful picking on the guitar, reminiscent of Nick Drake, John Mayer or Dallas Green.Facebook: facebook.com/kirbymusic

2013 will see the release of their new duo record, and tour dates across North America.

Completely and absolutely beautiful - just great.
– Frank Hennessy, BBC Radio Wales

Quite simply it would be a crime if this album were to linger forever in a banjo music backwater - it must surely be a contender for the North American folk album of the year. 9/10.
– Americana UK

The album is warm and honest. I can’t keep it out of my player.
– CBC Music

... a record that is further proof that the epicenter of Appalachian mountain music may very well have moved to the Pacific rim.

MARCH 1st, FRIDAY ~The DHARMA DOLLS~
                       3 HOT HONEYS!  LC
What do you get when you join in song an eclectic, multi-talented singer-songwriter, a seasoned, soulful jazz chanteuse and a Juilliard-trained, outrageous operatic diva?
               Magic.
“I had Melina on my right in the professional world and Tanya on my left in the singer/songwriter world so I thought, ‘Oh let’s just make some wonderful Neapolitan ice cream action,’” said Judy Rose, one-third of the Dharma Dolls. “We have a group that has three distinct flavours but all together is nothing but sumptuous delicious and fun.”
Singer-songwriter Tanya Lipscomb attributes her musical success to her deep passion for the craft. Rose calls her the most creative making up songs on the spot with a loop pedal. She has opened for the likes of Tom Cochrane, Wide Mouth Mason, Mama Guroove and more. http://www.tanyalipscombmusic.com/

Argentine-born coloratura soprano Melina Moore graduated from the prestigious Julliard School with a degree in opera performance. Moore has dozens of operatic and musical theatre roles under her belt, performs regularly with symphonies and orchestras across the province, has been a featured artist on CBC Radio and is the headlining performer at Swarovski’s Sparkling Hill Wellness Resort. http://www.melinamoore.com/

The third part of this ensemble is Rose whose performed in New York, Chicago and Austin with Judy Rose and the Pretty Boys. Her original French compositions have been broadcast on CBC Radio Canada and she has played feature roles in Cabaret and The Vagina Monologues. http://www.judyrose.biz/

“It’s an education coming to see us perform. You might not be a fan of opera, you might not be a fan of jazz but I promise you will not be disappointed. You will be entertained and we will leave you wanting more.

The trio is accompanied by pianist, Jim Leonard &  bassist Bill Locke.

The Dharma Dolls will seamlessly combine their musical styles to sing their way through the worlds of opera, jazz, folk and original compositions for one unforgettable display of song, surprises and sass.

“It’s nothing but surprising. You know when you are eating ice cream and you have a little intense bite of cherry or a nut and how delightful it is, we are kind of like that,” said Rose with a laugh.

*MARCH 2nd, SAT ~Carli and Julie Kennedy~check youtube http://cjkennedy.com/     http://www.youtube.com/carliandjuliekennedy
It’s like seeing double. Carli and Julie Kennedy are a Canadian powerhouse duo with a musical bond that only identical twins can share. With Carli on vocals and guitar and Julie on vocals and violin, they have developed a sound that is all their own: a fusion of their background in country, folk, jazz, and Celtic music. Originally from the small town of Powell River, these sisters are known for their exceptional harmonies, fine musicality, and sincere songwriting style. An undeniably energetic duo, the Kennedys’ performances bring a mix of toe-tapping tunes and intimate, heartfelt songs to the stage.

“The Kennedys are absolutely, 100% made for the stage and made to entertain. They are packed with a fiddle, guitar, tight harmonies, sweet and honest lyrics, and a magnetic energy that could easily make them the “next big thing” in country music.”
(Holly Tong, Nashville Music Examiner)

“Sweetheart identical twins, Carli and Julie Kennedy were nothing short of awesome. How two, petite and pretty entertainers can play with such gusto and speed is something to see…Classical training seeping into the mix gave the traditional country fiddle vs guitar face-off something special that got the crowd cheering.”
(Sandy Graham, Cashbox Magazine Canada)

“Carli and Julie are a listening pleasure! Their songs are inspirational and their energy on stage infectious. They turned every eye and ear at Hotel Indigo’s Songwriter’s night and I can’t wait to have them back in Nashville!”
(Ashley Norton, Host, Hotel Indigo Songwriters’ Night, Nashville TN)

*MARCH 7th, THURS ~ Cécile Doo-Kingué ~
http://www.cdkmusik.com

“Smoky  and  soulful  music  ”- Montreal  Mirror
“Soothing  and  soulful”- Montreal  Gazette
“The  album  sounds  great  (...)  worthy  of  Jimi  Hendrix  ” - Hour
"She is, in my estimation, the best guitarist in the city - male or female," -  Gern F. from the United Steel Workers of Montreal in an interview with the Montreal Gazette
"She  is  not  only  one  of  the  most  electrifying  guitarists   around,  but  she  is  also  one  of  the  most  versatile” - Montreal  Gazette

Considered one of Montreal’s most electrifying guitarists by local press and groove aficionados, Cécile Doo-Kingué blends blues, soul and afro-folk to create a unique sound. Born in New York City, first generation from Cameroon, she has lived in France, USA and is now an adopted Montrealer. This meeting of cultures is reflected in the eclecticism of her music. Her bewitching, incomparable fretwork and deep, suave voice are no longer secret to Montreal’s night-owls. Cécile has sizzled and dazzled with Montreal cult bands Dibondoko and Aliens, played or recorded with Montreal Jubilation Choir, Corneille, Bernard Purdie, Tricia Foster, Senaya, CIndy Doire, Ismael Isaac, Lou Simon, Soul City, to name but a few, and has opened for Manu Dibango and Youssou N’Dour. She has also done her share of mixing, including United Steel Workers of Montreal’s albums Broken Trucks and Bottles and Kerosene & Coal, producing and musical directing, including the main show for the XIIe Sommet de la Francophonie.  In 2008, Cecile and Gern f. of USWM started Chick Pickin’ Mondays, a night promoting women singer-songwriters.

*MARCH 14th, THURS ~ BELLE PLAINE ~ http://www.belleplainemusic.com/
"You know you’ve found a singer that’s truly special when they’re capable of absolutely murdering a standard but they don’t need them to get your attention. (Belle Plaine) is one of those singers.

"Her voice sounds timeless, somehow equally sultry, seductive, fragile, and dusky while still capable of room-filling bombast when the moment calls for it. One gets the sense that she could sing anything by effortlessly switching from the jazz-pop numbers on Waitress to the folk-based songs on her preceding EP. It’s not so much that her voice changes in any way to suit those styles, more that she has the strength, control, and natural tone to make it almost universal in its application. To borrow an old cliche: she could sing the phone book and The Artesian would still be standing-room only."

*MARCH 22nd, FRIDAY ~ LISA NICOLE
~ www.LisaNicoleMusic.com Lisa Nicole might look like your perfect country sweetheart, with strawberry blonde curls and emerald green eyes, but this rising star has a feistiness flowing through her veins that simply cannot be denied! She has followed her heart wherever it takes her in order to follow her dream and spread her country-rock sound to the ends of the earth.
Lisa grew up addicted to the twang of good ol’ country music from a very young age. Now, her influences range from country greats like Miranda Lambert, Taylor Swift and Carrie Underwood, to more pop and rock driven acts like Christina Aguilera and Guns ‘N’ Roses.
This country rock bombshell has released her first EP It Got Ugly, a fiery yet heartfelt collection of new tunes.

*MARCH 29th, FRI ~ MICHAEL WOODS BAND ~ http://www.michaelwoodband.com/
While many fans are immediately struck by the relevance of the evocative lyrics, they are ultimately won over by the Michael Wood Band’s attention to all the other elements that make for great rock music; the live show is pure energy, with smoking guitar leads, melodic rhythms, and a seriously infectious groove. From Vancouver Island, the four-piece features Michael Wood (vocals/guitar), Jon Baergen (bass/vocals), Josh Weed (guitar/vocals), and Alex Campbell (drums/vocals). Written while still in high school, their songs reflect diverse topics, from the Arab Spring (Should We Be Afraid) to the Occupy movement (End of the World) to putting off worries about the future (I Think I'll Just Go to Bed), and are receiving radio play nationwide. They were recently voted New Artist of the Month on CKXS FM, and the video for "End of the World" has received international attention, going viral with over 38 thousand views in its first month. Their full length CD "Occupy This"(The Barn Recording Studio: Randy Bachman, Buffy Sainte-Marie) continues to climb the charts proving that the MWB are as dedicated to writing and recording great songs as they are to playing an incredible live show.

Hailing originally from Wales, Mr. Karrie first played "The Phantom" at Her Majesty's Theatre, London, and went on to play the role in Toronto, Singapore, Hong Kong, Vancouver and on the Millennium tour of Great Britain.  His performances earned him the title of "The World's Most Popular Phantom"by The Worldwide Phantom of the Opera Appreciation Society.  His other acclaimed and award-winning roles have included the original "Che"in Evita for the first national tour of Britain, "Jean Valjean"in Les Miserables for more than a decade at London's Palace Theatre, "Judas" in Jesus Christ Superstar at the Palace Theatre, "John Blackthorn" in James Clavell's Shogun on Broadway in NYC, "Fagin' in the acclaimed Cameron Macintosh production of Oliver!, "Don Quixote" in Man of La Mancha, "Tevye" in Fiddler on the Roof and "Joby 'Peg Leg' Churchill" in the box office smash The Contender.  Mr. Karrie was also one of the original cast members of Chess,  and the host of his own BBC television chat show, 'Peter Karrie.... Unmasked'.

Argentine-born coloratura soprano Melina Moore received her training at The Juilliard School in New York City.  Ms. Moore debuted as "Susanna" in The Marriage of  Figaro with Manhattan's Bel Aria Opera Company. In New York, she appeared as a soloist in the Alice Tully Hall opera concert series, the Juilliard Opera Center and the Maxwell von Gluck Fellowship in the roles of "Despina" in Cosi Fan Tutte, "Gretel" in Hansel and Gretel, "Adele" in Die Fledermaus, "Oscar" in Un Ballo in Maschera, "Nanetta" in Falstaff, "Zerlina" in Don Giovanni, and "Papagena" in The Magic Flute. With a love of musical theatre, she has appeared in both Broadway and off-Broadway productions of Good News, Showboat, The Apple Tree, Fiddler on the Roof, Guys & Dolls, My Fair Lady, The Music Man, Annie Get Your Gun, Beauty and the Beast, Carousel, Candide and The Sound of Music. *JUNE 13th, THURS ~ PICTURE THE OCEAN ~ http://picturetheocean.com/  Picture the Ocean….. They used to call themselves Jesse Dee & Jacquie B but have added a third member and renamed themselves Picture the Ocean.  As the former band, they put out an excellent album titled Our Ghosts Will Fill These Walls which impressed the hell out of me.  They continue to do so with Picture the Ocean.  Very Americana (Canadiana, I guess) before and now, but they rock a bit more on the ocean, especially on the songs which use organ.  You want roots?  They got ‘em and they use them incredibly well.  Jesse is a killer songwriter and the voices bounce off of one another rather than blend.  It is a magic combination.  Hear tracks from Our Ghosts here and tracks from Picture the Ocean there.  And I mean go listen.  This may be the most overlooked band inside Canada’s borders!

*JUNE 14th & 15th, FRI & SAT ~ MUD BAY BLUES BAND ~ http://mudbayblues.com/wp/
For 34 years (and counting) the Mud Bay Blues Band has been electrifying audiences with their eclectic and original style of Rhythm and Blues. They have survived more than their share of trials and tribulations along the way, living up to their well-earned reputation as “The Band That Won’t Go Away”–much to the delight of their legions of devoted fans.

This ain’t your average blues band.

Founded in the badlands of South Surrey in 1978 by lead singer / blues harp master Mud Bay Slim (a.k.a. Harold Arnold), the band’s hard-edged, high-voltage, in-your-face  approach immediately distinguished them from their mellower counterparts in the Vancouver R&B scene. Throughout the years they have honed a distinctive style, playing the blues their way: uncompromisingly unconventionally, with no apologies for liberties taken.

A discerning listen to their 2007 album, “Death, Taxes and the Mud Bay Blues Band (Three Things That Won‘t Go Away)” reveals the depth and breadth of the influences informing their original compositions: classic Chicago blues, country, zydeco, barrel-house boogie … and in 2009 their follow-up album, “Mudified” continued this trend with widely disparate elements finding common ground inside the songs, all interpreted and incorporated the Mud Bay way.

*JUNE 21st, FRI ~ GHOST LIGHTS ~ http://www.ghostlights.ca Noah Cebuliak released his debut EP Saltwater as Ghost Lights in November, 2012, receiving national airplay and blog attention. The album is based entirely around his intense and revelatory experiences in the wilderness, including solitary fasts, remote journeys and paddling in Canada’s Pacific Northwest. With poetic slight of hand, jazzy chords and innovative arranging, Saltwater tells the story of these transcendental adventures with a folk-pop edge.
Saltwater is not an example solely of Cebuliak’s storytelling ability. Singing, harmonizing and playing all guitars, percussion and keyboards on the record allowed for the deepest sense of sonic intimacy. The end result is a warm, complex and rewarding work – rooted in the folk idiom, borrowing from the jazz tradition, approaching the indie-pop genre from a fresh angle.

*Not to be Missed!
http://www.toddwolfe.com/  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o3YSkUajnas Todd began playing on the New York scene back in 1979 with his band Nitetrain, a trio that clearly reflected Todd's influences—60s bands like Cream, Jimi Hendrix, Fleetwood Mac and other bluesy-rocking-jamming bands. The wave of guitar players that included Eric Clapton, Peter Green, Jimi Hendrix, Michael Bloomfield were and are influential and evident in Todd's style and approach to guitar-playing.
The Todd Wolfe Band recall the days when "Men were men and amps were amps," real tubes crackling with a bluesadelic sound reminiscent of the best rock and roll bands of the '60s. This band jams and rocks, but their music is deeply soaked in blues. Todd Wolfe, Roger Voss and newcomer, bassist Justine Gardner have established themselves as one of top power trios by relentless touring and spreading their legend from coast to coast and beyond.
Todd Wolfe is a true triple threat. His jaw-dropping guitar skills are well known, but he's also a soulful singer who writes a great song.

*JULY 14th, SUNDAY ~ RAKISH ANGLES ~ http://www.rakishangles.com/ British Columbia's Sunshine Coast is a tranquil neck-of-the-woods beside the Pacific Ocean that resonates with a woody timbre. This unique place conjured up a definitive sonic quartet called The Rakish Angles. Newgrass, Latin, gypsy-jazz, old-time music. None of these styles were born there, yet they have given inspiration to the vision of these musicians, who hail from various locations around Canada. There's gentle counterpoint to the band and maybe that's why their music and performances strike a chord - they simultaneously say sweet and mysterious, novel and ageless. The quiet complexity is honest and musical and natural.

Since forming in 2007, The Rakish Angles - composed of Ali Romanow (Violin, vocals), Simon Hocking (Mandolin, vocals), Boyd Norman (Bass, vocals), and Dan Richter (Guitar, vocals) - have been making their own unique sound. They have shared the stage with Tony Trischka, Doug Cox, Po'Girl, Celso Machado, The Red Clay Ramblers, Frazey Ford, Jesse Zubot, Tanya Tagaq & Joel Fafard. In the process, they've earned nominations for a Canadian Folk Music Award in 2009, Indie Acoustic Project Awards in 2009 and 2011 as well as Western Canadian Music Awards in 2010 and 2012.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=82BLY8iVYNI
Boogie Patrol has been pumping out their unique blend of Blues, Funk, Soul and R&B across Western Canada since 2007, captivating crowds wherever they go. "I'm HUNGRY" were the two little words that started it all one auspicious afternoon at the seminal Blues on Whyte in Edmonton, Alberta. Hungry to play music, hungry to play the BLUES, Boogie Patrol's harmonica hound "Rott'n" Dan and accomplished guitarist Yuji Ihara quickly joined creative forces and began collaborating. They soon enlisted the help of experienced bassist Nigel Gale to hold down the low end. With the addition of Sean Grieve's tantalizing touch on the keyboards, and JJ's orchestration of Blues, Jazz and Funk into Afro-Cuban, Brazilian and African drumming styles, Boogie Patrol's distinctive style slowly evolved and now entices even the most hesitant dancer onto the floor. These five virtuosos of their craft unite to create a sound, an emotion, a chemistry that is incomparable, and with their mind-bending solos and tight grooves, Boogie Patrol prides itself on the ability to connect with audiences from all walks of life.

"Boogie Patrol is off tha HOOK, they're on fire!" -
Ric Hall, Guitarist for Buddy Guy

“I'm not sure which is more impressive -- the way Boogie Patrol can captivate a crowd with their soulful vocals, electrifying musicianship, phenomenal energy, and stellar showmanship; or the fact that they manage to pull it all off while being an all-original, stylistically unique group that's all about blazing their own path. Either way, they're as impressive a young blues-based act as I've ever seen.” -

Manitoba Hal is an accomplished guitarist and songwriter, but he is best known for his ukulele chops. Hal proves that the uke can be small but mighty as he pulls out powerful blues riffs and melodies.

Hal is one of only two Canadians in The Ukulele Hall of Fame!

Hal uses a looping technology to produce a one-man-band experience, adding subtle but important background beats to his extraordinary ukulele strumming and riffing. Many wouldn’t associate the ukulele as a blues instrument, but Hal takes out all the hula, leaving only room for deep blues to prevail.
He uses a combination of looping technology and other effects to create a one-man-band performance that is truly one-of-a-kind. His takes on traditional blues songs are fresh and inventive combining them with Tin Pan Alley, hit parade, rock and rural country form and style.

*JULY 27th, SAT ~ DRUMHAND ~ http://www.reverbnation.com/drumhandmusic
DRUMHAND wields a name derived from the group’s percussive origins. Hands, sticks and mallets pounding out old and new rhythms on weathered skins: evoking ancient forms of ‘messaging’ via global beats for dancing bodies and curious ears! The Toronto ensemble was founded by percussionists David Chan, Larry Graves (Mr. Something Something) and Steve Mancuso in 2008 in an effort to combine the circuitous rhythms of West Africa, Cuba, India and Brazil with the jazz-imbued horn work in the spirit of New Orleans parade bands.

With layered drumming and poly-meter at the core, many of DRUMHAND’s accessible and edgy compositions feature the one-stringed ‘stomach harp’ of Brazil or the box-shaped Gome foot drum of West Africa alongside the woodwind magic of Marcus Ali (Cruzao/Jason Wilson) and brass love of Rebecca Hennessy (Woodshed Orchestra). The group’s ‘folkloric’-style vocals appear in a variety of languages and sometimes offer audiences a part in the show.

“They [Souls in Rhythm] were liquid smooth...The funk/soul band's second offering of the night and title track off their first album, Can't Fake The Funk, is a microcosm of what SiR has to offer - hard- hitting bass, rhythmic guitar, rock-solid drums and dancing keys, all welded together with Henderson's polished vocals” - Kamloops This Week

As members of Calgary’s ever-expanding, dynamic music scene for over 10 years, Souls in Rhythm (a.k.a. SiR) takes elements of classic funk and soul, then blends them with pop, rock and jazz, to deliver its own brand of ‘Alberta Funk’. As George Clinton said, “The more one thinks about it, the harder it is to get the feel of funk. It’s just done.” In this spirit of funk, SiR has focused on its passion for crafting songs and performing with great respect for the fundamentals of soul and funk, but with a strong aim to be forward thinking and honest to their own musical desires. Rather than being impressionists of former artists of the genre, SiR has a modern sound and seeks to innovate and contemporize a musical form they love. Described by Canadian Musician Magazine as “smooth, soulful grooves, melody lines that stay in your head and polished vocals”, SiR’s music proudly pays homage to tradition, while at the same time expanding boundaries.

*OCT. 4th, FRI ~ ONE CAMEL SHORT ~

Acoustic roots music from near and far”

Sizzling, multi-layered, exotic sounds and rhythms”

In 1999 Murray MacDonald and Richard Owings, began their musical collaboration through a shared interest in Celtic music. They named their duo The Clashing Plaids and played their first gig at a Robbie Burns Dinner. Over the course of time other influences began to emerge in their repertoire. Klezmer, Gypsy, Cuban, Blues and Cajun sounds blended with the Celtic to create a lively and diverse concert repertoire. Both Murray and Richard were motivated by a belief that all folk music is connected by a wild earthiness and that there is great energy at the place where these styles come together. Their original compositions demonstrated this effect. Songs about Snake Oil Salesmen and Late Night DJs alternated with instrumentals ranging from the peaceful “Dream of Silence” to the wild Gypsy groove of, “Dhombra.”

In advance of their self-titled, 2011 CD, the group was renamed One Camel Short. Richard and Murray had become interested in the complex scales and rhythms of the Middle East and Africa and chose a name that reflected the sense of journey in their music.

In 2013 the duo became a quartet with the addition of percussionists Nathaniel Huard and Jim Copeman. Both musicians shared knowledge of world music and were expert on a wide variety of drums. Their rhythmic prescience adds fuel to the Saharan groove of “Sirroco” and propels the whimsical “Spider Dance” to an eight legged frenzy.

For One Camel Short, the journey continues. Their sound shaped by the things they discover along the way.

An undeniably energetic duo, the Kennedys’ performances bring a mix of toe-‐tapping tunes and intimate, heartfelt songs to the stage.

Carli and Julie have been making music together for as long as they can remember. They started piano lessons at five years old, and three years later, discovered the guitar and violin. Needless to say, there was always plenty of music in the Kennedy household. Carli and Julie spent many years honing their skills in a family band, playing country tunes at community events. Taking their musical aspirations to the next level, the sisters entered the School of Music at the University of Victoria and both graduated with their Bachelor’s degrees in music performance in 2008.

ShusManouche plays gypsy jazz, aptly described as “jazz you can dance to”.  This intoxicating, passionate style of swing jazz burst into the music world during the 1930s, led by the amazing gypsy guitarist Django Reinhardt and his Quintet of the Hot Club of France.   Broadly, “manouche” in French means “gypsy”; and the gypsy jazz style is now known around the world as “jazz manouche”.   ShusManouche is a Shuswap-based ensemble inspired by the jazz manouche tradition, using the classic instrumentation of two guitars, violin, and bass.   Three of the musicians in ShusManouche played in the highly-regarded Salmon Arm gypsy jazz band Gadjology; they have been joined by ace Vernon guitarist Neil Fraser to form this new and exciting quartet.

4 crazy guys that decided it was time to put together a well organized music machine. *FEB 14th, FRI, VALENTINES DAY ~ ASH Grunwald ~ http://www.ashgrunwald.com/  Ash Grunwald is an Australian blues musician. He has built a strong reputation in Australia and internationally based on his live shows and festival performances.

“…funky, heavy, rootsy soul beats, and that’s not even mentioning Ash Grunwald’s rustic soul voice.”
- Sunday Telegraph

Like a lot of blues and roots musicians, he's something of a young hippie, and many of his songs deal with subjects like escaping from the big city and spending time with nature. He even has a song thanking a pod of dolphins for saving him from a shark while he was out surfing.

Blistering live sets on the festival circuit throughout Australia, Japan, Canada, America, Europe and the UK, have had critics and fans raving about his unique blend of roots, blues, beats and a whole lotta groove for now, more than a decade. Nominated five times for Australia’s ARIA Awards, and a swag of award wins including MBAS Blues Performer of the Year 2003 and the AIR Best Independent Blues and Roots Album, and in 2009, taking out a prestigious APRA songwriting award for Blues & Roots Song of the Year.

“It is almost impossible not to be transported into Ash’s world, where the relationship between a grinding guitar and a stony, rock-strewn voice is all that is needed to convey absolute exhilaration.”
- Jmag

"Ash Grunwald is one of the best."
- Australian Guitar Magazine

"Grunwald's playing is impressive and he rarely lets a good groove go to waste"
- Herald Sun
